The first of two open calls for artistic work to be delivered as part of the Transforming Narratives programme is now open. 

 

A key part of the Transforming Narratives project is to hold a number of open calls, where artists are invited to submit project proposals that reflect the TN project vision, aims and programming criteria. 

 

Open Call Opportunities

There are three funding strands available: 

• Exchanges: To broker new partnerships or develop existing ones through international residencies, exchanges and critical dialogue in Birmingham, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
• Collaborative Projects: To support showcasing contemporary artistic programme and on building long-lasting cross-country relationships. 
• Reciprocal Showcasing: To support ambitious cross-country collaboration projects to develop new work and build on existing ideas. 

The closing date for round one applications is 31 October 2019.

 

The second call round will take place from January to March 2020.
