Gully Zine
‘Gully’ translates as ‘alleyway’ in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Bengali. Gully Zine is a multidisciplinary zines that platforms the voices of South Asian creatives. It links to artists in Bangladesh and Pakistan, offering diaspora communities in Birmingham a vivid reality instead of an imagined homeland. Gully Zine is created by the Gully Collective: Nafeesa Hamid, Kamil Mahmood and Rupinder Kaur (Birmingham).
